Just in time for the holiday season, we’re thrilled to unveil a major upgrade to our Artist Studio software, now featuring full support for trapezoidal patches that expands your design possibilities. Additionally, we’re introducing the Smart Gripper concept, bringing enhanced efficiency and flexibility to Fiber Patch Placement production.

ARTIST STUDIO – Release 24.3.4

In addition to this major new feature our latest ARTIST STUDIO version 24.3.4 saw many improvements of the interface between Motion Artist and its counterpart on the SAMBA system side, the machine data reader (MDR). Additionally, our FE export tools now support coordinate system-based material orientations for OptiStruct and Nastran solver formats.

Welcome Arjun!

In November, Arjun Radhakrishnan joined Cevotec as a Software Engineer, contributing to the development of our ARTIST STUDIO CAD-CAM software. With an academic background in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Information Technology, and Computer Engineering, Arjun also brings valuable experience in simulation technologies, robotics, and software testing.

We’re thrilled to welcome Arjun to the team and are excited about the impact his expertise will have on advancing our software solutions for composite manufacturing.

The final quarter of 2024 wrapped up on a high note, living up to the motto: “a major tradeshow every month.” In October, we made our exhibitor debut at the H2 Expo in Hamburg, where the growing prominence of hydrogen technology was unmistakable. The event was well-attended, and we had high-quality discussions with suppliers and OEMs from the pressure vessel industry, confirming that our dome reinforcement solutions are set to be a game-changer. Our booth for 2025 is already booked!

In November it was a home match for us, exhibiting at the Aviation Forum in Munich. To close the year, we presented FPP at the Aeromart Toulouse, engaging with the French aerospace supply chain.

Looking ahead to 2025, JEC World in Paris is quickly approaching! March 4–6, we’ll be exhibiting once again at a joint booth with our Austrian partners from GFM. Interested in a tech demo or an in-person meeting? Be sure to schedule your appointment before the calendar fills up! You can meet us in hall 5, M99.
